Henry David Thoreau

Anarchy in the USA

Beautifully said,
“it finally amounts to this, which also I believe—“That government is best which governs not at all”; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have. Government is at best but an expedient; but most governments are usually, and all governments are sometimes, inexpedient.”

There have been a lot of thinkers with smart words about anarchy, but Henry David Thoreau has probably found the most poetic.
Lately I have been reading a lot of the likes of Proudhon, Kropotkin, Bakunin and even Paul Feyerabend—so maybe there are more political pamphlets to come.

Working fast means, little mistakes must to be tolerated. So never mind the quotations marks.
